Loooong Weekend.

Very long. But very good. I'm still in the process of making it readable. Basics? Ok. Starting with Wednesday night. Yes, Wednesday. I told you it was a looooong weekend.

Wednesday night. Scruffy left for Land O'Cheese. I went and saw The Mooney Suzuki with A New Friend Who Doesn't Yet Have A Clever Nickname. Ran into a friend of Scruffy's, which was cool. But then he yelled at me for learning guitar and for wanting Anton to look at me that one time at the Empty Bottle. His reasons were good, it was certainly a loving ass kicking, but y'know...

So the bands were good.

Thursday. Woke up, and threw up. Joy. And it's not like I was out drinking all night, because I didn't drink anything except for water. Don't know if I got a mild case of food poisoning or what. So I stayed home from work, and curled up on the couch for awhile. Then did some errands later in the afternoon. Stayed home that night, drank half a bottle of wine, ate macaroni and cheese and watched The Young Ones on DVD, and a good time was had by all. In retrospect, it probably wasn't a good idea to drink wine after the morning I'd had, but I turned out just fine the next morning. I'm choosing to think that the alcohol killed of whatever little nasties were in there.

Friday and Saturday I went with the Knitting Queen to Livonia, Michigan to attend the 156th Annual Highland Games. More on that later.

Sunday, got up late, knit for awhile, considered going to the mall. Once I'd made the decision that yes, I would go to the mall, it started pouring, so there went that. (It's an open air mall) So I watched movies on tv and knit and did some housework and basically just waited impatiently for Scruffy to get home. He got in late in the evening, and then everything was happy.

Yesterday wasn't weekend, but it was just an average Monday. Got to work really late (10:25!) Oh, and major aggro from Verizon, but more on that later...
