Yay!

So my parents will arrive tonight! Yay! The downside is that i'm not yet finished cleaning the house. The second bedroom looks like a tornado struck it. And the bathroom needs going over. And i broke the clippy IKEA frame thingy on one of my flower pictures.

Scruffy and I finally finished 24 last night. It was good. And not good. It was good in so many ways, especially in the way it set things up for, erm... tomorrow, but then at the same time I would have liked for there to have been more resolutions. Bringing Nina back would have been nice. But at least i've got season 1 on DVD for those late night 24 cravings over the summer. (Oh, I should probably mention that we were so behind because I started going to Stitch'n'Bitch on Tuesday nights, and getting home after 24 ended, and we never seemed to get around to watching the eps after I got home. We tried to play catch up on the weekends, but our weekends have been really chock full lately, so we've perpetually been 3 episodes behind.)

I started the heel flap on sock one of the "Partly Cloudy" sock. I thought the sock was going to be hard to make, as the pattern looks complicated (the finished sock, i mean, as opposed to the paper pattern... so I think design would have been the better word there.) I'm so geeky excited about Opal yarn in general though, so even if it was hard I'd totally barrel through. I'm going to be behind on the "of the month" part as I didn't start this project until the tail end of May, but last I checked, there's no penalty for that. I love knitting socks. I'm probably boring y'all to death with all my knit this and purl thats... Anyway. That's it for now.
